I knew this would take a while because of all the detail in the windows on the right. It seems that many people in the upper windows noticed a photographer standing on the roof across the street with a big camera and stared at him instead of working.
But this had a lore more detail on the traction building I never would have noticed if it wasn't still standing today. I thought it would be all red, but instead it has pink window outlines with a tan stripe on each one. That increased the time quite a bit. Plus all the lettering and awnings.
I'm not totally certain what the year actually is. They gave a range of 1900-1910. I made another image of the fountain that has this street in it. That was labeled 1907. I was fine with that date, everything lined up to the one I made. The scaffolding, awnings even that fruit cart. Only problem is, the library was done in 1908, and this is clearly in use right now. So this shot is probably 1910, as is the other one.
Generally this doesn't really matter since its only 3 years apart a 100+ years ago. But if I wanted to travel back in time, that might mess things up. But it probably doesn't matter since I would need exact time and date's to get back there at a precise time. The only thing I do know is that the time is 3:15pm. I guess if I knew when that cigar store opened, then we would know the real date.
Anyway, I was able to get the colors from the buildings themselves, since they are still there.
