Oil cans were very important back in the day, still are now actually. These antique oil cans lubricated yesterday's machines. Everything from gears in an old clock, to milling machine parts. Every shape and size imaginable. Oil didn't spray in those days, they didn't come in cute little cans with names on it. This is what they had, and you would find one in every train yard and workshop around.
