Long long ago, there lived a pirate, he was unusual in that he had no beard. He felt he didn't want to hide the money maker behind a face full of hair. He became known as, "No Beard the Pirate".
He was very good at gambling and always had money. But he never wanted the money to leave him, and people were always after him. He became obsessed with it, to the point where he got rid of his crew and went to bury it in a far off land, as was a common tradition with pirates for some reason.
Only he couldn't depart with it, he stayed by it, and basically lived there. He had no problems with that. But it wasn't easy for a few reasons. One, his boat became shipwrecked when he got there. Two, there wasn't much food there, and probably the worst was that this island was nearly completely submerged under water much of the time.
We only know about his story because there were plenty of bottles and paper and oddly quills, he sent back word of his life. Some say that if you can...
