Boylston street is where the Boston Marathon has its finish line. It used to be called Frogg Lane back in the 1700s.
I found a few postcards of this spot, but wasn't pleased with the colors they chose. So I chose my own, along with the fact a few building still exist. I wanted something showy but not fun house like.
Currently the only things in here that still exist is that fence on the right, maybe this red path, and Arlington Street Church at the end of the block. And I'm not a 100% certain, but I think that spire on the right ed might be the Church of the Covenant. It's hard to tell because perspective does weird things and there are more buildings today covering it up.
Those buildings are interesting. They almost remind me of modern lofts.
My name is Mike Savad, I create one of a kind images. Photo realistic, is what people think of first. I specialize in job themes, such as Pharmacist, Doctor, Firemen, Lawyer, etc. Steampunk is another favorite. I'm certain you will find something that you will like. My art is inspired by Norman Rockwell and Paintings from the time of the Renaissance. Be sure to visit my Scene in Color section. I expertly restore and colorize black and white images. See the past come alive with color. Each image is painstakingly cleaned and repaired, colors are researched and shaded in. Images are designed to coordinate with the rest of my collection. The past was far more colorful than you would have imagined. Want something fun to do? Sometimes I hide...
