About Mike Savad
My name is Mike Savad, I create one of a kind images. Photo realistic, is what people think of first. I specialize in job themes, such as Pharmacist, Doctor, Firemen, Lawyer, etc. Steampunk is another favorite. I'm certain you will find something that you will like. My art is inspired by Norman Rockwell and Paintings from the time of the Renaissance. Be sure to visit my Scene in Color section. I expertly restore and colorize black and white images. See the past come alive with color. Each image is painstakingly cleaned and repaired, colors are researched and shaded in. Images are designed to coordinate with the rest of my collection. The past was far more colorful than you would have imagined. Want something fun to do? Sometimes I hide...

Like I said, I've been watching the autumn seasons for some years now and if things are cyclic like they say we should be good this year. The only problem is it doesn't mean it won't rain, it only means the conditions will be dryer leading up to October. But I feel like I'm hijacking this conversation... My link is above if you care for more thoughts on this coming fall. I really enjoy your usage of tonality in your images and the fact that I see a sale for you almost daily says I'm not alone. Your tuts are bookmarked... My HDR skills are very basic compared to what you do.. :-) V/F

Was that 2011 or 2005? Both were extremely wet autumns in New England? If you reside outside new england I blog about the fall foliage in New England at jeff-foliage.com. I used to be Yankee Magazines fall foliage blogger... It's a subject I'm very passionate about. :-)
Mike Savad replied:
at first i was going to doubt the dates because i have 2009 on there, but according to the exifs it was 2005. so neat. all i remember were gray day's, no color, and i think i broke my camera at the end of the trip. it was the last time we went in october. ---Mike Savad

:-) I was going by the title only...I usually go by there each autumn... at least once.
Mike Savad replied:
we went their in the autumn, this was taken then, and as luck would have it, in a 100 years they said, this is the first time there was no color in any of the trees. i think it also rained almost every day there. we went there just because of those trees... oh well. ---Mike Savad

I like the viewpoint you shot here.. We (all other photographers) always seem to shoot just the bridge and the tree next to it... I did shoot it at night to do it differently but yours is the first I ever saw of this POV... Maybe this Oct I'll stop in and say hi... :-)
Mike Savad replied:
you can if you want. but i don't live here. ---Mike Savad
