Description
There was a time when chewing tobacco was all the rage. People would (and some still do), chew wads of tobacco and suck out the juices, and when done, they would spit it out. This was, I guess, more civil than smoking and certainly easier to carry. Snuff was a powder one used to clear one's nostrils. They would breath it in through the nose, and in place of a tissue, they would sneeze the contents out on to the less fortunate. Mostly the rich used snuff powder, the less than rich used their sleeves like we do today. It is not wise to use these two products together.
