The original images had a lot of spots at the top and was a bit over exposed in areas. I can only imagine how close the the ceiling the flash pan was when it was set off. I think this had a date range of 1900-45, but seeing the glass jars, I don't think they got that much further mixing things like this.
I did the best I could to match the chemicals to the color, I was able to find a few, but many were too hard to read or simply weren't there. I do wonder how they kept that set up balanced while the boat was moving.
