Description
I could probably say that every town has some kind of drug store or pharmacy. A compounding pharmacy would be more rare, but they exist too. This is a compounding pharmacy, instead of getting pre-made pills, you would have them made up by a pharmacist, a sort of designer medicine if you will.
They follow recipe's and then give it to you. It might be in the form of a pill or a liquid. But they may also offer it to you in a fun soda something to remove the bad taste. You can thanks pharmacies for soda.
See those bottles in the window? Those are called Show Globes, they are often put into pharmacy windows, to advertise they are indeed a pharmacy. The colors have lost their meaning over the years. But it was originally thought that in towns that had the plague, a bottle with red liquid would be shown. It was a warning to anyone entering the town. If the bottle was green or some other color then it was safe.
Today the colors don't have too much meaning, its mostly for tradition, and whatever looks pretty.
