Description
This is a typical farm kitchen of the 1840's. While the Victorian era kitchens area bit more modern, this one sticks with the the basics. The sink is a simple basin, you still need to pump the water and bring it inside. The stove is wood fueled, you can almost smell the wood burning.
Can you imagine what it must have like back then? Waking early, pumping water, getting firewood, and slowly cooking breakfast for the family?

Mike Savad I LOVE your renderings. Had not heard of Steampunk until recently, and I love the general collection, and specifically your works! They are so special, so full of detail and really speak to me. I am very partial to antiques, and decorated our home in Folkart and primitive antiques. Now I want to do it all over in steampunk! You are so talented, and I just wanted to tell you so. Thank you for opening a new world to me - STEAMPUNK!
