I've seen so many stores from the outside, you never really get to see on on the inside. This is what a department store looked like a hundred years ago. This floor has huge toys and cloth, ribbon, and a few other notions. Look how detailed the doll is. Articulated hand, it has its own toys as well, and an entire wardrobe.
Every counter has its own person as well. It's sort of set up like a big general store.
What first caught my eye in this were the toys. Both how large and how few there were. The date is based off a postcard of this mall that was from 1916, however it could also be 1912 as well, we may never know. A postcard suggested the lamp shades were blue, though I don't know why some were off, or maybe they were just out. I would imagine an old ladder 20 ft tall would be needed to change these. They probably only did it if they had to.
