I'm almost a 100% certain that the cannons are iron, and not bronze. They did make bronze cannons, but they were smaller and on the battle field. These would look nice if they were yellow though. Also the body and the wheels ranged from olive, to brown, to gray. Red would have been great. But I can see why they wouldn't do that.
I'm not sure what those mattress like things are next to some of the guns, they seem out of place. I'm also not sure if it just rained, and that's why there is a puddle. Or if they use water in the cannon itself, but I see no buckets, or shadows. As of such I couldn't tell if they had light pants or dark. Union clothes are dark on top, light on bottom, these guys look all blue. But that would be boring, and it wouldn't be totally in accurate to make them two toned.
This location is Fort Richardson, they made it in 1861, named after General Israel B. Richardson. His division had been deployed to defend the City of Washington by way of the Columbia Turnpike.
