Original Title: Boody House
Location: North St. Clair and Madison Ave, Toledo Oh
This is the New Boody house, replacing the old Boody house. This hotel was originally built in 1870, it had 133 rooms. Each room had its own fireplace and hot and cold water, which was very rate in its time. They claimed to have the only elevator between Chicago and Buffalo.
This hotel also had one of the first telephone systems in the Toledo area. It's believed that the term "Boody Call" originated from this hotel. Its hard to know when the meaning changed to what it means today. This magnificent structure was torn down in 1928.
