Location: Paris, France
This is Paris, as seen in 1865, quite frankly it looks a lot like it does now. While the buildings changed over the years, the overall look is the same as it is now. You'll note the color of the buildings, all of them are beige, that's because they are all made from Lutetian limestone, or sometimes known as Paris stone.
On the left stands NotreDame de Paris, which means our lady of Paris. Built from 1160-1260, its been standing in this spot for over 700 years. Its hard trouble over they years, its been repaired and upgrade. Recently it was in a devastating fire (April 2019), but it will be repaired.
Notre-Dame de Paris, which means Our lady of Paris, the buiit this cathedral starting from 1160 and ended in 1260. For over 700 years, this building watched a city grow around it. It's still standing today. Everyone that grew up here, has always had this building in the background.
