Original Title: Tobacco and Magazine stand at Streetcar terminal
Location: Near park and Harvey Ave, Oklahoma City, OK
This is a typical streetcar terminal. Its a bit like a bus terminal, but cleaner and less crowded. Streetcars were popular in the past, people could get from one end of the city to the other pretty easily.
In later years (around 1960 or so), they replaced many of them with buses, which do the exact same thing, only they produce more exhaust. They also have the ability to drive on roads that have no tracks. And less tracks makes it easier for other cars.
The station we see here sold magazines, tobacco and probably some other items.
