This is the Feast of San Gennaro in Little Italy, on Mott Street, in New York City. If you live in NY, you'll know its actually on Mulberry street and has been so since Sept 19, 1926.
Despite how long this festival ran for, there was little info about what it was like before the 20's. Because no where did I find that they ever held it on this street and yet they are.
Anyway, the colors came from the current buildings, unless it looked painted, and then I used the color under chipped paint.
I like the white horse, and those glass cup decorations are interesting, because I don't think they light up. They were a pain to color though. I couldn't wait to finish that part.
