This is the New Duval Hotel, it has a pretty long history built in 1893, to replace the old Duval Hotel that burned to the ground. Yet I don't know when they removed this particular building. I was able to find the history all the way back to a cabin owned by L.Z Hogans (they named a street after him), that was on this spot, but not the ending. Right now its a boring building and some kind of Tram service overhead.

The bit of building on the left is the post office, a landmark, but mostly had a cop below it and a piece of a street name, so I had to keep the whole thing. Ideally I don't like it there. But it serves as a place mark for other images that have this hotel in it.

Finding the accurate colors were harder though, there were a number of postcards covering both hotels. One was all green, and another had light colors and white gingerbread trim, so I matched it to that card. Though I made mine more yellow, as I think that's more of a Floridian color.

The roof in many images were either brown or red, I decided it was red cedar and tinted it red. My guess is, wet, it looks brown.

The original date range they gave was 1910-20, but the license plates, white with black, were all from 1910. Check out the number range, how easy is it to remember your plate number, mine is 58. There is a large floating police man shaped head on the right. I thought it was a person but it was way to big, and I suppose it could be a police station but only in cartoons do I see signs like that. Maybe its for the bar? Also what confused me is a small maiden near the cigar shop, I think that's a statue.
