I've been noticing an interesting theme for Cincinnati architecture, they seem to keep a chunk of it or a keepsake from the location. The inclines have the original footings in place, retaining walls have their original doors. And this building has a section of a wall they kept, probably because it kept the hillside up. If you visit this location, be sure to say hi to that wall section, the piece they kept is between those two people against the building in this image.

I was able to find 5 postcards, so I had a pretty good idea what this building looked like, but they really didn't include the other buildings.

I thought it was also interesting, that while this building looks pretty fancy for us, the people back then complained that it wasn't fancy enough for their tastes.
