Colorized photo from 1940
Original title: Michigan Avenue, Chicago, Illinois

Location: Michigan Ave & Jackson Blvd, Chicago, IL
This is very near the Magnificent Mile (or sometimes called the Mag Mile), a name given by a real estate developer, Arthur Rubloff. He gave this name in the 1940's. Located on Michigan Ave, its filled with all sorts of high end stores, art galleries, etc. Because it the official Magnificent mile starts further on the block, we can say this is the Magnificent mile and a half.
There are quite a few historic landmarks here as well. A few you can see: Wrigley building and Tribune tower.
Today this location has almost all the buildings intact. Even those light posts are still there.
