This was a lot more complex than I first thought, there was so much detail in this. The weird part though was how long the exposure might have been. There are many ghosts wandering across the street, indicating that they were either very fast, or everyone else was very still for a 1+ second exposure. But its quite possible they really are ghosts, just well dressed ones. I added a little bit of tint on them, though while I could have cloned them out, they added action.
The street is a combo of Chicago pavers, cobblestone and cement. Not quite sure why the cement other than its much flatter.
The hotel was built in 1891, demolished in 1940 to make room for the Federal building. None of these buildings exist today, though the one on the right looks a lot like the Fisher building, but it has a different motif.
My favorite parts: The billboards, especially that fancy ad for Dry Sox - a shoe store. And that spigot in front of the steam bath. Also interesting, the Barbers that has only lady barbers, usually you don't see them in that roll. Typically it's a guy with a handlebar mustache.
