What is interesting about this cafe, besides the spelling of Homemade, is that its in a bus. Normally when they decommission a street car, it often becomes a long skinny cafe, its almost normal to see those. But this guy used an old bus. An old 1920, Yellow Coach bus, a Model Y parlor coach, to be precise.
I can only assume he got a very good deal on it, the only part that's missing is the engine. You can still see the wheel well on this side, the color was orange to start with. The front door is on the right hand side, and I assume the seating is very limited.
The kitchen portion was outside, there were two wood burning stoves. I didn't see where the refrigerator was, but there was a truck parked in back, so maybe he had an ice chest for that stuff. How he handled the brutal winters, rain or wind is beyond me.
He had a variety of foods, from fresh fish, to Kosher hot dogs, hamburgers, and of course pie. Watermelon when it was in season.
