I'm glad that New York keeps many of its old buildings. I'm not great at knowing which building is which, but I was able to find the tall pointy on on google maps. Then by turning that map and aligning the three buildings like this, I was able to find many of these old buildings. Most of which are beige.
The smaller ones at the coast are either gone or covered up by other buildings. The building with the pointy brown roof was known as the trump building, I believe its just known as "building", these days. It was built within the last few years, that's why its brown and not green like it is today. I'm sure the other buildings have names, but I couldn't really find them.
The boat in the front is the Watuppa tugboat, built in 1906 bu the Burleigh Shipyard. It originally pulled coal to New England. It was later purchased in 1935, by the McCarren towing line company, reconditioned and was now used to tow oil barges on the East and Hudson Rivers. I assume that's why they shot this picture in the first place.
