Sometimes its hard to guess what the color is based on the shades I have. I knew it was a light color against a lighter color. And my first thought was to make the building a lavender color. Just to make it interesting, though I wasn't sure if they used that color in those days.
But then I found original postcards of this very building, and it was yellow. Though the post card showed darker trim colors, I chose yellow and orange based on what was there.
Nearly all the buildings still exist on this spot. All but one.
