This is Amsterdam NY. A small town that has pretty much no buildings left in it. So its a total bummer that I can't use anything as a reference. The church exists, it used to be red brick when it was first built, then they refaced it and it became a tan brick.

Seems they replaced the roof and removed those spires as well since this was taken. The roof has simplified, it looks less like a castle. If it wasn't for that church, you would never know anything ever existed on this block. Its mostly parking now.

I think this was taken between rain drops and it was getting brighter. Still though, rain evokes a certain emotion, and I like to brighten things up and light lamps and signs. Which is what I did here. Adding street light glow, and neon, adds a lot of depth and impact. Especially if you have memories of this location.
